MDEF holds two major fundraisers each year. Both events strive to bring the community together in support of public education by raising funds for our annual grant giving program. All proceeds go directly to grants for our local school students.
MDEF’s annual summer event, Taste of McCall, is held at beautiful River Ranch in McCall. Join us in kicking off the 2017 summer season as chefs from several McCall restaurants and local caterers serve tastes of their summer selections, all paired with fine wines and premium microbrews. Join us next year for our 11th annual Chocolate & Spirit Tasting event on Thursday, Feb. 1st, 2018. Mark your calendars and make sure to get your tickets early! Specialty chocolate desserts by Shore Lodge Pastry Chef Sarah Nissen will be featured, along with premium spirits, including bourbons, vodkas, specialty port and more.

Don’t forget to make childcare reservations for your kids during the Chocolate & Spirit Tasting. This is a FREE service for ticket holders that includes supervision, a movie (rated G) and a snack.
