4th grade heritage arts

The program offers a model of place-based learning at it’s best combining hands-on and location-based learning that incorporated art, creativity, history, cultural study, and the opportunity to work with community professionals. Students engaged in projects including making dye with natural sources, exploring plants used by Native Americans for health and healing and even a boot-stoming barn dance to celebrate the conclusion of the program.
